The Three Card spread is incredibly easy to use. As shown below, only three cards are used here. Each card provides something
of a snapshot of what factors are in play, people who are playing important roles, and the events.
The card at position 1 is the Past card. This summarizes the events that form the basis of the situation in
question. This card will often focus on the critical points of the past when the reading is focused on a specific matter.
The card at position 2 is the Present card. It gives a quick look at where the Querant stands at the time of
the reading in relation to the matter at hand. I will sometimes see things about the people around you or the stressors in
your environment that are major players currently. Usually, however, I see things pertaining to the mental and spiritual state
of the person I am reading for.
The card at position 3 is the Future card. This card gives a quick overview of how the matter will unfold over
time. The time range is usually pretty vague with this card. Sometimes, the card itself will indicate a time for how the event
will come to pass. This, unfortunately, is rather rare with this particular spread.
